To support your coaching objectives, we’ll use tools from the following disciplines.

Leadership Science

Great leaders aren’t always born, but they can be developed. Learning to lead is like learning to play an instrument or speak a new language; it takes practice. I’ve helped thousands of leaders develop the skills to build the competence, confidence and motivation of their employees. We’ll use the latest leadership research and time-tested models to deepen your impact with others.

Positive Psychology

Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths and optimal living. The field is founded on the belief that what is good about life is as genuine as what is bad, and therefore deserves equal attention from psychologists and practitioners. We’ll leverage positive psychology findings to cultivate what is best within you so you can enhance how you work, love, and play.

Spiritual Practice

Spirituality is universal. Although the specific content of spiritual beliefs varies, all cultures have a concept of a divine force. Spiritual practices help us experience the sacred and transcendent aspects of our humanity.  Accessing nature, meditating, and attending to our bodies are just a few exercises that can enrich our coaching work.

Design Thinking

Design thinking is a method for practical problem resolution. It’s a form of creative thinking where several alternative solutions are explored. Unlike analytical thinking, which begins by defining all parameters of a problem with an aim to create a single, correct solution, design thinking investigates alternative paths that may lead to goal accomplishment. We’ll use design thinking to reduce fear of failure and encourage iterative, intermediate solutions that will strengthen your agency and confidence.

Storytelling is an under-leveraged means to creating and sustaining wellbeing in our communities. People love a good story. In fact, human brains are hardwired for storytelling and story listening. It is, quite simply, one of the most effective ways for people to make sense of their own and others’ experiences. We’ll use storytelling to help you construct meaning, enhance interpersonal connections, share mastery, and evoke positive emotions.
